Congenital Heart Defects: Each year, approximately 1.5 million children are born in Uganda, and around 15,000 of these children have congenital heart defects. Of these, 8,000 require corrective surgeries. However, the country has the capacity to perform only 1,000 such surgeries annually, leaving a devastating backlog of 7,000 children in need of life-saving operations.
FY24/25. We aim to aid 10 children with heart defects to receive corrective surgeries.

Clinics is situated IN Namuwongo at C-Care IHK premises. It focuses on HIV/AIDS Programs including Awareness Campaigns to reduce stigma and promote testing and treatment, ART Provision to individuals living with HIV to improve their quality of life and reduce transmission rates, Tuberclosis (TB) Testing and treatment. The clinic sees more than 20,000 visits a year.
The program is supported by the Ministry of Health, IDI and other partners.
