Medical Nutrition / Diet Therapy
Treats disease or conditions through personalised diet. Food selections are designed to fit with condition
management, lifestyle, economic status, religion and other factors. Good nutritional care improves health and
well-being, increases productivity, and reduces risk of hospitalisation or unnecessary use of drugs through:

  • Attainment, maintenance and promotion of good nutritional status
  • Prevention of occurrence and re-occurrence of a disease
  • Control and treatment of nutrition–related illness
  • Enhancing response to treatment

Target Group

  1. Adults and children diagnosed with nutrition-related conditions
  2. Individuals attending regular wellness screening/check-up
  3. Communities and other corporate groups


    • Nutritional Assessment
    • Medical Nutrition Therapy for:
      1. Inpatient and Outpatient care
      2. ICU nutrition care and support
      3. Under and over nutrition among adults and children
      4. Chronic conditions e.g. HIV/AIDS/TB, cancer and cardiac diseases
      5. NCDs e.g. Diabetes, Dyslipidaemia, High Blood Pressure
      6. GI problems like low appetite, oral sores, diarrhoea, constipation, peptic ulcers
      7. Others include anaemia, kidney and liver malfunctions, food allergies and intolerances
    • Specialised nutrition care and support for:- Weight management
      1. Infants and young children
      2. Pregnant and lactating mothers
      3. Elderly
      4. Vegetarians
      5. Sportsmen and women

Group Nutritional Services

Education and counselling on selected topics such as:
